Agreements
Recruiting under labour agreements
Labour agreements and Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMAs) allow eligible employers to sponsor overseas workers when standard pathways do not meet their needs. They apply to particular industries and regions.
Once an employer has an agreement in place, or is exploring one with a registered migration agent, we help source and screen candidates for the approved occupations.
Our role
- Candidate sourcing for approved occupations
- Screening skills, experience and English ability
- Recruitment records to support your obligations
- Coordination with your registered migration agent
- Candidate onboarding and settlement guidance

Learn moreRecruitment and migration advice are separate. SMART Recruitment provides recruitment services. We do not give immigration advice or lodge visa applications. Where sponsorship or visa advice is required, we refer employers and candidates to an independent registered migration agent. Visa outcomes are decided by the Department of Home Affairs and can never be guaranteed.
