DAMA Workforce Solutions
Recruitment support for employers in regions covered by a Designated Area Migration Agreement.
About DAMA
Using a DAMA to meet regional workforce needs
A Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) is an agreement between the Australian Government and a regional authority. It gives eligible employers in that region access to overseas workers for a wider range of occupations, sometimes with concessions.
Employers apply through the regional representative, usually with help from a registered migration agent. Once endorsed, we can help you source and screen suitable candidates.
How we help DAMA employers
- Sourcing candidates for endorsed occupations
- Screening skills, experience and English ability
- Recruitment records to support endorsement
- Coordination with your migration agent
- Relocation and onboarding guidance

Recruitment and migration advice are separate. SMART Recruitment provides recruitment services. We do not give immigration advice or lodge visa applications. Where sponsorship or visa advice is required, we refer employers and candidates to an independent registered migration agent. Visa outcomes are decided by the Department of Home Affairs and can never be guaranteed.
